Live Operations and Public Beta Program to Begin in 2026
GeoAerospace today announced the official launch of GeoAIR, a groundbreaking urban drone-on-demand service, with a live operations planned in a major European city in early 2026.

GeoAIR represents a revolutionary shift in how drones are operated; replacing traditional on-site piloting with a fully remote, automated system accessible from any device.
With GeoAIR, users can simply log into the online platform, select a dock location from the city’s urban network, choose their site, and GeoAIR handles the rest — performing the flight remotely and delivering live streamed video or post processed aerial data directly to the user’s desk.
A New Era for Urban Drone Operations
“What we’re building with GeoAIR is a connected network of intelligent drone docks that fundamentally changes how smart cities are managed,” said Fearghus Foyle, Managing Director at GeoAerospace. “For years, access to aerial data has been limited by cost, logistics, and the availability of qualified pilots. GeoAIR removes those barriers entirely.
Through this shared-service model, any authorised user — whether in the public or private sector — can access rapid, compliant drone operations at the click of a button. You no longer need to call upon a drone pilot to travel to a site; instead, you simply log in, select your dock, click ‘Fly Now’, and your data is collected and delivered within minutes.

This kind of connectivity is what makes cities truly smart, where drones are not just tools for specialists, but part of an integrated digital infrastructure that supports everything from emergency response and public safety to infrastructure inspection, environmental monitoring, and urban planning. GeoAIR transforms drones from a niche technology into a city-wide service layer for real-time insight and decision-making.”
A Connected Network of Urban Dock Stations — Accessible to All
In 2026, GeoAerospace will roll out a network of urban drone dock stations, each equipped with next-generation Dock stations connected to the GeoAIR platform.
Each dock provides automated drone coverage within a 3km operational radius, offering immediate aerial data capture for both public and private sector customers — including emergency services, utilities, construction, and security operators.
This on-demand coverage model means that any organisation located within a dock’s radius can instantly book flights, request imagery or mapping data, and receive results within hours — without owning or operating a single drone.
GeoAIR will operate under full regulatory compliance with EASA BVLOS regulation and national aviation authorities, ensuring safe, repeatable, and certified autonomous missions in complex urban airspace.
From Operations to Infrastructure
“This is about building reliable, scalable aerial infrastructure,” said Mark Doyle, Director of Drone Services at GeoAerospace. “Each dock can perform multiple flights per day, automatically recharge, and operate continuously, providing 24/7 coverage for urban environments.
Our system integrates advanced safety protocols, automated pre-flight checks, and secure data management; ensuring every flight is not only autonomous but fully compliant and accountable. What GeoAIR delivers is operational simplicity underpinned by deep aviation expertise. We’re giving cities, businesses, and agencies the ability to see and respond faster than ever before.”
Join the GeoAIR Beta Program
GeoAerospace is now inviting businesses, councils, emergency services, and technology partners to join the GeoAIR Beta Program ahead of its official 2026 launch. Early participants will gain priority access to the dock network, live demo flights, and data delivery services during the rollout phase.
“We’re building a shared aerial layer for cities — an intelligent, automated system that responds to demand just like any digital service,” said Fearghus Foyle. “By joining the beta program, you’re not just adopting drone technology — you’re helping to shape the future of urban flight.”
